This traditional ranch style home got a much needed remodel in vital areas such as the kitchen and main level bathroom. With a quick turnaround and strict budget the entire team (including the clients) worked exceptionally hard to design, demolish, and build spaces that celebrate natural light, clean-crisp finishes, efficient fixtures, and an overall welcoming presence. We also renovated other essential areas such as the stairwell, flooring, lighting, and trim details around the home. AshtonForDesign worked with Taylor Smith Construction on this project.
This little sitting room got a refresh with a more efficient layout, new lighting, furnishings, fireplace insert, and tiled hearth. We worked with Kush Rugs on a custom design for the circular rug to reflect a tropical art deco theme and carried those curves throughout!
This basement renovation received a major facelift and now it’s everyone’s favorite spot in the house! There is now a theater room, exercise space, and high-end bathroom with Art Deco tropical details throughout. A custom sectional can turn into a full bed when the ottomans are nestled into the corner, the custom wall of mirrors in the exercise room gives a grand appeal, while the bathroom in itself is a spa retreat. AshtonForDesign worked with Green Rabbet Builders on this project.
We wanted Loyal Legion to be a place for the people. ALL people. Beer halls can sometimes get categorized as sports bars and only cater to a small demographic. We honed in on custom details like the arched backs and tufting on the booths. A classy beer hall for everyone to enjoy.
This project might be the perfect example of our designs breathing life into interiors. A once drab mid-century modern home is now full of life and color. We helped with major renovations such as the kitchen and master bathroom. We also specified all finishes, lighting fixtures, appliances, plumbing, furnishings, and accessories. AshtonForDesign worked with Hammer and Hand on this project.
The Evergreen was given to us to design in less than 2 months. This event space is located above Loyal Legion. We assisted in the main space by designing the custom chandeliers, color scheme, and plants, but focused heavily on the bridal suite and bar area.
This condominium was designed for a couple who lives in Florida for the Fall and Winter months and Portland for the Spring and Summer months. I wanted to reflect the brightness of their home state in the furnishings, accessories, and custom details such as the fireplace tile. What once was a dated glossy black facade on the fireplace is now a myriad of bold blues, teals, and rust. We also added a plethora of new lighting to the ceiling and walls. Not only did we update the lighting and finishes, but we also completely furnished this home, which includes custom pieces such as bed frames, headboards, dining table, and a custom-designed rug.
This home was completely remodeled, taking it all the way down to the studs, adding new windows and walls before diving into the new finishes and fixtures throughout the home. The tile was selected from Design and Direct Source, Pental, and Pratt and Larson. Most of the lighting was selected from Rejuvenation and custom cabinets, bathroom vanities, and built-ins were designed by AshtonForDesign and built by MH Custom Cabinetry.
This clothing boutique is almost entirely custom-built, save a few vintage Jens Risom lounge chairs. We had less than 3 months to design, build, and install this commercial space. I wanted the space to be able to transform into a larger environment if needed for an event or more merchandise. We designed three large mobile clothing racks that could be moved in order to open up the area. Other custom items include a CNC-routed logo table, a CNC-routed dressing room facade, and a mirror frame inside the dressing room.
A complete remodel of this basement to create two bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry room with extra back stock storage, plus a living room and music lounge.
